Streetmachine and adidas skateboarding are proud to present 'COPENHAGEN'.

2014 is a big year for Streetmachine. Celebrating 25 years as a leading skateboard retailer and a recently acquired title of European Shop of the Year (BESA), Streetmachine also entered into what would be adidas Skateboarding's first retail collaboration, featuring a reworked Adi-Ease, a football jersey and deck.

Taking a minimal design approach to shop-favourite the Adi-Ease, designer Anton Juul and head buyer Henrik Petersen stripped the shoe back, removing the sole stripe and altering the contrast stitching for a seamless look on the black on black exterior. A leather heel cup offers additional support and a more exclusive look. With a nod to the Football World Cup, the Copenhagen collection draws its colourway influence directly from the standard tones used by Copenhagen football teams. Streetmachine branding sidelines the 3-Stripes in gold. The tongue adorns a specially designed 'football logo' sporting the text Aesthetic Athletics - a term Streetmachine actively pursues through its approach to design and retail. A custom photo inner sole features white road markings which represents skateboarders' playing field as a play on the markings on a football field. The shoe is finished with the Copenhagen patch on the heel of the sole.

The football jersey is presented as a classic three-colour, short sleeved v-neck tee. Featuring the specially designed Streetmachine football logo, contrast black on navy 3-Stripes and all players are 89: Streetmachine's founding year. The collaboration rounds off with a deck with an abstract portrayal of skateboarders' playing field - the lines of the street, as seen on the inner sole.
